Moo Two Designs is the creation of Donna Wheway and Sandi Berg. The company was born out of the desire to create beautiful scrapbooks that were quick, easy and affordable. We both had done paper scrapping but found that while we loved the end result we didn’t like having to spend so much time taking supplies out and putting them back. We wanted to be able to spend more time DOING scrapbooking rather than getting ready to scrap or cleaning up from scrapping. Donna discovered digital scrapbooking, which is basically using a computer program to do scrapbook layouts. She began designing digital scrapbooking kits for us and other friends to use. We loved doing it so much we made a decision to produce them commercially. There are many benefits to digital scrapbooking. Here are a few of our favourites!
Time Saving: No more taking everything out and putting it back when you want to create a page. Any time you have a few extra minutes you can work on your layout and just click "save" and go back later...no muss, no fuss!
Money Savings: Each time you paper scrap you have to replace the products you used for that page. You are always putting out more money to develop your layouts. With digital scrapbooking you purchase the kit(s) and use it/them over and over again, with a different look each time! Mix and match your kits to create even more variety. All you need is your computer, your printer and a package of photo paper. A page can be created and printed for as little as 75 cents. You can also email them; burn them to a disc or save them on your computer for free!
Space Savings: Do you use your spare room, your dining room table or your family room to store all your scrapbooking supplies? Are you tired of all the clutter, mess and loss of space? Claim back that space and clean up that clutter and mess once and for all! Digital scrapbooking takes up minimal space. All you have to store is the CDs the kits come on - or download them online and they can be kept right in your computer!
Undo Those Mistakes: Have you ever cut a picture or paper wrong? Then you had to get a new picture printed. What if you didn’t have the negative and couldn’t reprint your picture? Or you cut the paper wrong and had to buy another new piece of paper. Perhaps you put an embellishment in the wrong place but now can't get it up without ruining the paper. With digital scrapping all you do is hit the undo button and redo it. No original photos ruined, no paper ruined and no embellishments wasted.
Preservation & Sharing: Digital scrapbooking is the easy and safe way to preserve and share your memories with others. Worried about flood, fire and theft? Just burn your layouts to a CD and store the CDs in various locations. Worried about layouts being crushed, messy hands, glue letting go? Not with digital scrapping...just hit print and you have a new page to replace the one that got ruined. Don't have the time or money to paper scrap an album for both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends, etc. for Christmas, Mothers Day, and Fathers Day? Share your digital layouts in an online gallery for them to view, send your digital layouts to them on a CD or print the layouts and place them in albums at a fraction of the price!
Flexibility: Do you have traditional paper scrapbooking supplies already? Do you like the feel of the texture of paper, real ribbons, etc.? Not a problem - digital scrapbooking can be done "in combination" with paper scrapping. Use parts of digital kits such as papers, frames, etc. and add your photos. Then, print that out and add traditional scrapbooking embellishments. You will still save lots of money and have the pleasure of working with the textures AND know you’re not wasting the paper scrapping supplies you already have.
